• Family First is among the few divorce mediation practices in      New Jersey led by attorneys that is solely dedicated to divorce mediation. We will provide you with all the resources you need to establish a successful resolution to your divorce mediation. 

• Lisa and Sabina use their expertise as lawyers to professionally and empathetically guide couples through their divorce while attending to every detail to plan for the future. They encourage couples to utilize divorce mediation to provide the couple with the utmost control over the process and the terms and conditions of their divorce. 

• Lisa and Sabina are cognizant from their experience as attorneys that litigation is expensive, time consuming, adversarial and potentially damaging to the family unit. Thus, they entered into this profession to help couples avoid litigation and provide a more amicable forum to plan for their future. 

 Lisa Sidman is a licensed attorney by the State Bar of New Jersey (2004) and New York (2004) and practiced at Liddle & Robinson, LLP as a litigator and at Weil, Gotshal and Manges, LLP as an ERISA/Tax attorney. Lisa Sidman cultivated considerable experience handling highly sensitive matters, including those involving sexual harassment and abuse, and resolved countless outcomes through mediation. Lisa is also a member of New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators.

 Sabina McKinney is a licensed attorney by the State Bar of New Jersey (2006) and has been practicing law in New Jersey since 2006.  Sabina has practiced both in the public and private sectors.  As a clerk, deputy attorney general, and solo practitioner, Sabina has extensive litigation and mediation experience.  Sabina has mediated in several areas including probate, consumer affairs, and general mediation. She is a member of New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators.
